Renegade Folk Hero

Grades have been posted for said semester from hell. And while there’s still 1 unit outstanding from Dr. Chang (always late!), all the other grades almost made it in by the posting time.

Sad to say, it looks like I won’t be paying out those 5:1 odds. I passed this semester with a GPA of 3.319 (not counting the 1 unit) bringing my overall GPA down to 3.456/4.000. *sigh* I guess I’m a B student for now. There’s hope though, if I manage 11 more units of 4.0, I’ll swing a 3.5 yet. Not that it matters, I’ve no plans on Grad School at this time.

Updated (6/4): Dr. Chang finally got off his ass and posted the grades. In 195A I got an A- bringing my GPA to 3.341 and 3.458 for the semester and cumulative, respectively.

I still don’t understand how this semester’s 17 units was so much more of a hassle than last semester’s 16 or the 18 before that. Geez. Who wants 5:1 odds that I managed a 4.0GPA? Well, at least now it’s over. 1 more to go…

Time to go unwind.

With projects taking up almost 100% of my time, I had developed a serious backlog on cleaning my apartment.

So filthy!

So today, I finally found the time to clean up. The place was so bad that it took me 5 hours to clean everything (Floor, bathroom, dishes). It’s all done now though and I’m a might bit more comfortable.

What’s worse than a group project in a CS course? I’ll tell you: 5 group projects. Out of my 6 classes, 5 have group projects. What ever happened to individual studies? I don’t know how I’m going to make it through this semester. And do we get a break before finals? No. Projects are due the same week as the start of finals. So stupid. I’m going to enjoy next semester when I have nothing but stupid GEs to attend. It seems like my professors this semester are more interested in making a name for themselves than actually teaching stuff.
