Peter’s flat tire

Thursday, January 26th, 2006

How many software engineers does it take to change a tire? Apparently only 2, but we had 7…

We decided to go to Marina for lunch today. So, we all piled into Peter’s Honda Pilot. Near the Saratoga exit on 85 we must have run over something because the right rear tire went flat, making a *wog wog wog wog* noise. In the end, it was Bill who did most of the tire changing. Peter claimed he didn’t know how. I helped a little, when I wasn’t taking pictures.

Synopses

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

Added synopses to each of the Works pages. I’ve always been at a loss when people ask me to write some description for them, so now there’s something for me (or them) to cut and paste.

New Year News

Sunday, January 8th, 2006

Happy New Year all, hope this one is much more eventful than the last one.

The FBBB DVD is very close to being done. I’ve finished redoing all the lipsynch, just have a few effects to polish up and the credits to retype. A week, two weeks tops. After that I go right into the Nescaflowné DVD, which should only take two weeks tops itself since I’m not overhauling what’s already been done in any significant way.

I also just finished writing to all those who had sent me requests for tapes. Sorry about the huge delay on my part, there is no excuse for my laziness. My apologies to those whose events came and went without a response from me. If you haven’t heard from me by now, try writing me again and I swear I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

In other news, NoN.D.E. Fanfilms, creators of This is Otakudom, is now distributing their follow-up work S.T.E.A.M. - The Movie, which features a short contribution from Studio Sokodei. You can get info from their site here: http://welcome.to/otakudom. It’s an impressive and highly amusing follow-up indeed.

Happy New Year!

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

Welcome everybody, to 2006!

This year Kelvin’s resolutions are:

  • Cook more food (and eat it!)
  • Exercise more
  • Write (even) more code

The spring semester doesn’t start until the 23rd, so I’ll be working full time for a few weeks. Before school starts though, I still need to get a laptop. Help! The new car is doing well. Which reminds me, I need to sell the old one. Spending the remainder of my time with Judy. ^_^d

Happy New Year people!
