Finally received confirmation that Sokodei stuff will screen at Otakon this year. In case you were worried.

I went out to the first Silicon Valley chapter CocoaHeads meet yesterday. It was a nice little meet & greet. Scott Knaster (in blue) was nice enough to give a talk about his new book, various cocoa/apple/next things, and life in general. Apparently at our first meeting, the Silicon Valley chapter became the biggest chapter overnight with about 20 or so people showing up. I guess I should dust off my powerbook for future meetings. Maybe I’ll give a talk about hacking appkit one of these days.

I got some long cables to run the video spanning from my iMac G5 to my 32″ Sony Wega. And, while it may not look like it from this phone-photo, the image is simply gorgeous. I just hope I can get my hands on the new episodes, downloading doesn’t work on this free wi-fi…

For lunch five of us from the office went down to Loon Wah. We got regular dishes rather than the Dim Sum we ususally get. There wasn’t really anything outstanding about the food; Only alright.
The service sucked balls. We waited literally 15 minutes before we could even put our order in. Total waiting between everything was about 30-40 minutes. Pretty bad. Ten dollars per dish was a bit on the steep side as well. If I go back there, I’ll definitly stick to Dim Sum.
